Prac 9 and tutorial 5&6 reflections
At the start of the day, began with a test.The test had 5 more questions as compared to the rest of the tests we did and thus had a higher weightage at 8%. Well, the test was ok i suppose, if you studied at least a bit.
We then carried on to do practical 9. Generally, practical 9 was to finish up all of our unfinished work such as our report. We then had to compile our work and show Miss Faridah so that she could help us check.
We also discussed the ethical issues of the internet in the discussion forums on tp’s blackboard site.
Thats about it. Of course, and the usual fun stuff, only greatly reduced due to the fact that our portfolios are due tomorrow.
Overal reflection for UIR:
I've learnt a lot during this 9 days, from sitefeeding to evaluating the different websites. If i were to mention all that i've learnt, it would take me too long to post so i'll just name a few. I've learnt the different types of search facilities and how they work. I've also learnt why we should evaluate websites and how to do that. Also, i've learnt how to cite websites and even hot to do a proper report.
However, as i've mentioned earlier, these are just to name a few. Overall, I feel that this course is vary useful and would help me increase efficiency and effectiveness when it comes to using the internet in the future. This would increase the quality of my work in the future be it in studies or work.
